Holy Thursday April 6, 2023 Bulletin

Dear Parishioners

On behalf of Fr. Tomasz and myself, I wish all of you, as well as your family and friends, a most Blessed and Happy Easter!  Think of these words and how fortunate we are.  Today, parts of the world are in utter chaos and turmoil.  The wars in Ukraine and other countries are causing much destruction, death and misery for the war-torn people of those countries. . And yes, it is also causing hardship for many parts of our economy which affects all of us.  Yet through all the things happening in the world around us, one thing is certain – “Christ is risen from the dead”!

I encourage you to strongly reflect upon this for a moment.  Too often in our lives, we forget about the power of Christ’s Resurrection.  Our worldly concerns seem too much to overcome that we sometimes become too focused on the negative events happening in our surroundings.  We truly forget about the Resurrection of Christ that helps all of us be resurrected from our own physical death.  However, when we truly believe in the power of the Resurrection of Christ, we will not let the things of this world get us overly distraught and troubled.  For each and every one of us, Christ has proven and overcome all the evil and sin of this world through His death and sacrifice on the cross.  We need to rejoice in His Resurrection and say to one another constantly:  Christ is Risen…Indeed…He is Risen!

May the power of Christ’s Resurrection keep you and your family in peace and harmony this Glorious Easter Season!

Fr. Chris Pastuszka, SDS

Pastor
