Divine Mercy Sunday April 16 AT HOLY CROSS
Join us and celebrate the day with Mass at 3:00 pm, blessing of icons, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Benediction, Veneration of St. Faustina’s relic and a coffee reception after in the School Gym.
This will be an especially beautiful celebration as the Divine Mercy Chaplet will be sung by our Divine Mercy Choir.
DIVINE MERCY DEVOTIONALS
You are invited to donate Divine Mercy devotionals which will be collected in a basket in the lobby of the Church. The devotionals will be kept there until this Sunday’s 3:00 pm Mass. These will be put on the altar to be blessed.
HEAVENLY WINES COLLECTION
One of the most popular auction items at our Golf Tournament is the Heavenly Wine collection, gifted by the Holy Cross Parish community. You can participate by choosing wine to purchase from $15 to $25.
You can pick up your wine ticket after all Masses this weekend and return your purchased wine after all Masses next weekend (Saturday April 22 and Sunday April 23.)

Divine Mercy Mass on Friday April 21st is cancelled as the Grade 7 school students and Level 7 PREP students are receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation that night.
Knights of Columbus Post Secondary Scholarship
The Knights of Columbus Holy Cross Parish Council #5423 and the Holy Cross Elementary School are offering a Post Secondary School Scholarship to Secondary school students. To be eligible, an applicant must be in Grade 12 at a British Columbia High School and have graduated from Holy Cross Elementary School.

The catechists of the Neocatechumenal Way invite you to rediscover the joy of believing. Come and listen on Mondays and Thursdays from April 24th to June 11th, 2023. PREP Registration for 2023-2024 will start on Monday April 24 and the “Early Bird” rate ends on June 2nd. Please let your family and friends know that PREP at Holy Cross starts at Level 1 (Level 1 students are those students in Grade 1 in September 2023).

Floral Arrangement workshop with Ave Maria Garden ministry
Deepen your faith and express your devotion to our Mother of God in a unique and meaningful way. Learn color theory and coordination with different flower styles by arranging a silk floral arrangement with statue of Our Lady. Add it to your sacred space to celebrate May/Month of Mary or give to a loved one for Mother’s Day. All ages are welcome; children ages 5+ can attend with the help of a parent/guardian. Each arrangement is $20. A sample of the arrangement you will take home will be on display at the back of the church this weekend.
