CHRISTMAS 2022

Dear Parishioners:

During this Advent Season, it has been my prayer that each of us will be able to find opportunities to reflect on our own faith and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. Whatever it is that our hearts and souls desire, whether we realize it or not, our ultimate desire is Jesus Himself. It is for this reason that we are filled with joy and comfort at Christmas, knowing that all we have hoped for has been fulfilled in the person of the Christ Child.
Christmas has a way of bringing back to Church individuals and families who, for various reasons, have not been attending Mass or receiving the Sacraments for months or perhaps even years. What better time than now to put aside past differences and old habits and begin anew that prayerful relationship with the Lord and His Church community.
Keeping this thought in mind and, on behalf of Fr. Tomasz and myself, we extend a personal outreach of “welcome” to our Parish. Let us allow the Christ Child, born in Bethlehem, to enter our hearts, blessing our families and loved ones. May Mary, the Mother of Jesus, watch over us and our Holy Cross Parish Community.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and the very best in the New Year 2023.

Fr. Chris Pastuszka, SDS
Pastor
