SALMON BARBECUE
This Sunday, September 18th, is our annual Salmon BBQ from 3-7pm. Weather permitting, we will hold the BBQ in the parking lot like we did last year. In the event of poor weather, we will meet in the school gymnasium. Rain or shine, the event is on, so please dress accordingly. Our timeline is as follows:
- Event is open as of 3pm for gathering, ticket sales, beverage purchases from the bar, bouncy castle for the children, etc.
- there are no ticket pre-sales.
- Children’s Meals are available for serving as of 4pm.
- Salmon and/or Italian Sausage/bun dinner is available from 4:30 to 6:15pm.
- Dinner is no longer served after 6:15pm.
- Event stops at 7pm.
For those who cannot stay at the event, take-out options are available.

PARISH OFFICE
The Parish Office will be closed Monday Sept 19th for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Morning Mass on Mon Sept 19th will be at 9:00 am.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST NEXT SUNDAY
Knights of Columbus will be holding a pancake breakfast next Sunday September 25th after 8am and 10am masses.
All attendees will receive a ticket to enter a draw for a FREE turkey. Proceeds from this Pancake Breakfast will go to the Holy Cross PREP Program.
PREP
Holy Cross Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) classes start on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at 7:00 pm. Classes are filling up and registration closes on Friday September 23rd. If you want to register your child for PREP for this year, please go to the website www.hcprep.ca.
BIBLE STUDY
Our next Great Adventure Bible Study Series will be on the 4 Epistles of St. Paul: Galatians, Ephesians, 1 Corinthians and Romans. We will start the series with Galatians this fall. St. Paul’s Letter to the Galatians answers the question “What must we do to be saved?” Sessions are every Wednesdays starting Oct 5 to Nov 23 at 7:30 pm. Attend virtually by Zoom or in person in the Music Room. Past participants may join again.
