PROJECT ADVANCE
We are very excited to announce that we have surpassed the Archdiocesan Goal of $56,400 for Project Advance at Holy Cross Parish. A very sincere thank you to all our parishioners who have helped make this happen. This is great news because any further donations to Project Advance will go directly to our Parish and help us achieve our three main campaign goals for this year and, they are as follows:
- to replace the windows in the Parish Sacristy
- to install an Electric Car Charging Station on our Parish property
- to continue to enhance our School/Parish Seismic Upgrade and Building Fund.
Our sincere gratitude to all our Parishioners who have donated thus far and to those who still wish to participate in the 2022/23 Project Advance Campaign, please contact the Holy Cross Parish Office for further information. (All donations are Tax deductible.)
With sincere gratitude,
Dino Alberti,
Holy Cross Development Officer
SALMON BARBECUE
Our Annual Salmon Barbecue, that was held last Sunday, September 18th, was a huge success!! The weather was beautiful, which helped to make this day special. THANKS to the many, many volunteers who availed themselves to make it happen and to all who showed their appreciation by partaking in this community function.
BIBLE STUDY
Our next Great Adventure Bible Study Series will be on the 4 Epistles of St. Paul: Galatians, Ephesians, 1 Corinthians and Romans. We will start the series with Galatians this fall. St. Paul’s Letter to the Galatians answers the question “What must we do to be saved?” Sessions are every Wednesdays starting Oct 5 to Nov 23 at 7:30 pm. Attend virtually by Zoom or in person in the Music Room. Past participants may join again. For registration or more information, visit the table at the back of the Church after Mass or contact the Parish Office or Tito Macapinlac at titom1999@gmail.com or (604) 761-3135.
