COFFEE SUNDAY
This Sunday January 14, please join our monthly Coffee Sunday after all morning Masses (8am, 10am, 12pm) in the Holy Cross School gym. We have some homemade items from our parishioners and baking donated by Cobs on Kensington and Valley Bakery.
2024 ENVELOPES
Please note that your 2024 envelope number may have changed. Do not use your 2023 envelopes as you may not get credit for your donation if you don’t use the correct envelope number assigned to you! Please write your name and address on your envelopes for the first few weeks of 2024 so that we can make sure we are crediting the correct person for the donation.
Even if you do not have an envelope number, as long as you provide your full name (first and last name) and complete address, your donations will be tracked under your name and you will receive a tax receipt.
If you want 2024 envelope box, please contact the Parish office and we will give you one.
If you have a 2024 envelope box, please make every effort to use your printed 2024 envelopes as we are having difficulties obtaining the blank offertory envelopes.
HOLY CROSS SCHOOL PUB NIGHT FUNDRAISER
Please join our Holy Cross Community at our upcoming Minute to Win It, Pub Night, 80’s EDITION on Saturday February 10th in the gym. This is an event that you don’t want to miss! Tickets include dinner, dancing, games and a live & silent auction, with many great prizes to be won! Please join us and support Holy Cross Elementary while having a fun filled evening! Everyone and anyone are welcome to come to the event! Tickets are $75 and are available at the Church Office. We look forward to a successful fundraiser with your support!
LITTLE BOOKS FOR LENT FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN
Ash Wednesday (and the beginning of Lent) is February 14, 2024, which is just over a month away. The Little books (black for adults and purple for children) contain very short meditations for each day of Lent and are available for sale in the lobby of the Church for $3.00 each.
SUPER BOWL PARTY Sunday February 11, 2024
Tickets are now available at the Parish Office for our Super Bowl Party on Sunday February 11th from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the School Gym. Your $50.00 ticket includes snacks and 1 beverage and a dinner featuring pasta and roast pork served at halftime. A full bar will be available throughout the game and doors open at 2:30 pm. There are a limited amount of tickets available.
DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY (APRIL 7) CHOIR
Divine Mercy Sunday Mass for 2024 is on Sunday April 7at 3:00 pm and our Divine Mercy Mass Choir will start practicing on Sunday January 21. If you are interested in joining the Choir for the Divine Mercy Sunday Mass, please contact Agnes Wan at joagnes@shaw.ca or 604-671-5365. The choir will also practice on Sundays at 1:00 pm on January 28, February 4, 11, 18, 25, March 3, March 10, March 17, and March 24. A reminder that you must attend all the practices if you want to join this choir.
VOCATION LIVE-IN WEEKEND FEBRUARY 10-11
