This Sunday’s second collection supports our retired priests who have dedicated their entire life to the Church. Generous support from the community ensures a comfortable living environment, quality medical care, and other essential services for our retired priests.
CWL RELIGIOUS ARTICLES SALE THIS WEEKEND
If you are looking for something to help you or your family live your faith, the CWL is selling religious articles at the back of the Church this weekend after the 5:00 pm Mass this Saturday and after the 8:00am, 10:00am & 12:00pm Masses on Sunday. We accept cheque or cash for payment.
TAX RECEIPTS
Your 2023 tax receipts are ready to pick up in the lobby of the Church. You will receive a receipt(s) for your regular envelope donations as well as your preauthorized, online and Project Advance donations.
HOLY CROSS SUPER BOWL PARTY ON FEBRUARY 11
A very special thank you to all of you in the Holy Cross Parish Community who came out and helped support our 2nd Annual Parish Super bowl Party on Feb. 11. It was an enjoyable afternoon of Community Building and $3100.00 was raised for the School Seismic Upgrade Fund. Also our extended gratitude goes out to Emilio Dente, for his sponsorship of the event.
HOLY CROSS ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Our Holy Cross annual Golf Tournament is on Friday May 10, 2024 at Riverway Golf Course. More details will be forthcoming.
Holy Cross ANNUAL Heavenly Wines Event:
Wine Selection Day is Sat and Sun April 6 & 7 before and after all Masses.
Wine Drop-off Day is Sat and Sun April 13 & 14 before and after all Masses.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS
The Stations of the Cross will be at 7:00 pm every Friday during Lent. There will be no confessions on Friday evenings.
COFFEE SUNDAY IS CANCELLED IN FEBRUARY
Because of several other social events taking place in February, Coffee Sunday for February is cancelled. We look forward to serving you in March.
CHOIR FOR EASTER VIGIL (Sat March 30)
Our Easter Vigil choir is going to start practicing soon. Musicians and those who would like to sing with us in the choir are all welcome. Men who can sing tenor or bass are especially needed. We will practice from 6-7:30 pm at the Church on Sundays March 3, 10, 17, 24 and at 6:30 pm before Easter Vigil Mass on March 30. 2024 ENVELOPES
Please note that your 2024 envelope number may have changed. Do not use your 2023 envelopes as you may not get credit for your donation if you don’t use the correct envelope number assigned to you! Please write your name and address on your envelopes for the first few weeks of 2024 so that we can make sure we are crediting the correct person for the donation.
Even if you do not have an envelope number, as long as you provide your full name (first and last name) and complete address, your donations will be tracked under your name and you will receive a tax receipt.
If you have a 2024 envelope box, please make every effort to use your printed 2024 envelopes as we are having difficulties obtaining the blank offertory envelopes.
If you want a 2024 envelope box, please contact the Parish office and we will give you one.
CWL MEMBERSHIP
It is not too late to pay your 2024 CWL membership of $45.00. You can pay by cash or cheque payable to the Holy Cross CWL. Please put your payment in a sealed envelope in the offertory basket and make sure to include your name and address if you are paying cash.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS MEMBERSHIP DUES
The notice for Knights membership dues have been sent out to our members. If you wish, you can drop off your dues in a marked envelope in the collection basket. Another option is to e-transfer the dues to: kofc5423org@gmail.com and enter your membership number in the description.
