Tickets for the CWL Strawberry Tea on Saturday June 13
Our popular Strawberry Tea is not yet sold out! Tickets are still available for the Strawberry Tea on Saturday, June 13 at 2:00 pm in the Holy Cross Gym! Get a group of family and friends together and enjoy sandwiches, strawberry shortcake and coffee and tea. There will be entertainment, a raffle draw for gift baskets, and door prizes. Tickets are only $10.00 and will be sold after the 5:00 pm Mass on June 6 and after all Sunday Masses on June 7. Payment will be by cash or cheque only (cheques made payable to Holy Cross CWL).

Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast this Sunday
The Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast is this Sunday June 7th after 8am, 10am, and 12pm masses.
Eucharistic Procession this Sunday June 7 at 2:30 pm
Please join us on Corpus Christi Sunday, June 7, at 2:30 p.m. for Holy Cross Parish’s annual Eucharistic Procession.
Children who received their First Holy Communion this year are especially encouraged to participate in this beautiful public witness of faith. First Communicants are asked to gather in front of the church at 2:00 p.m., wearing their First Communion attire. Altar servers are also encouraged to join. Altar servers who are joining, please come to the sacristy at 2:00 pm.
Together, we will process around the perimeter of the church grounds and through several blocks of the surrounding neighbourhood before returning to the church for Benediction. The entire celebration will last approximately one hour.
To mark the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) invites all participants to enjoy refreshments in the Holy Cross Gym following the procession.
We look forward to celebrating this special feast with you and your family.
Youth Group Thursday June 11
Join the Youth Group on Thursday June 11 in the Holy Cross gym from 6:30 to 9:00 for games, snacks, and bible study on the last day of Youth Ministry this year. Grade 7’s and all are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Parish Religious Education Program (PREP)
PREP Registration for 2026-2027 is still open but will close on Tuesday June 30th and then reopen on Tuesday September 1st. Children up to the age of 15 years old in the public education system are eligible. For questions or further information, visit the website https://www.hcprep.ca/. Classes will take place on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm starting on September 15, 2026.
Project Advance 2026 Appeal
This annual Appeal provides critical funding to key ministries and projects, not only in the Archdiocese of Vancouver, but also in our very own parish. Our Archdiocesan goal for the current year is $60,000; however, we are hoping to raise $100,000.
The funds generated above our diocesan goal will help us:
- Pay off our loan (which is $2,457,000). This loan was taken to help us pay for the seismic upgrade and renovations of our school. Our monthly payment is $25,000.
- Support our Youth Ministry
- Support our Alpha Program

Vocation Live-in Weekend
