Coffee Sunday
This Sunday, July 12 will be our monthly Coffee Sunday after all morning Masses (8am, 10am, 12pm). Please come and get to know your fellow parishioners while enjoying free coffee and treats donated by Hill’s Bakery and Cob’s Bread on Kensington. Thanks to parishioners who are also baking some treats for us. We look forward to seeing you!
World Youth Day (WYD) Information Session
There is an Info session for WYD on July 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 in the church basement.
This session is for young adults ages 18 to 35 who are interested and want more information for WYD in South Korea 2027. There is no requirement for participation at this time. We will be sharing experience and specific details: We hope to see you there!

FORMED.org
Holy Cross Parish has a parish subscription to FORMED.org. Formed is the “Netflix of the Catholic Faith.” This website is from the Augustine Institute and has lots of programming about the Catholic faith, including programming for young adults and children.
To create your FREE Formed account under the Holy Cross subscription, please follow these steps
- On a browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari, please go to formed.org
- Please choose Find Your Parish Subscription (upper right-hand corner)
- Click on “Continue to Sign up/Login”
- You may be directed to enter your email address before you can
- Enter your email address, name and other information.
- Then you will be directed to Join your Parish page. Under Find Your Parish, enter Holy Cross and make sure you select Holy Cross Burnaby.
- Enter your email and name, click the box to agree to the Terms of Use, and click “Sign Up”
- You should then be taken to the main Formed site where you should be automatically signed in and be able to access all the content.
If you have already created your free account under the Holy Cross subscription, you do not need to use the Find your Parish option – you just need to sign into your account.
Please follow these steps to sign into your Formed account:
- On your browser (Chrome, Firefox or Safari), please enter watch.formed.org and click on Sign In (upper right-hand corner).
- Enter your email, then choose the option of signing in with a code that is emailed to you (please check your junk/spam folder if the email does not appear in your inbox), or by setting up a password.
- (Once you are signed in on a browser, you may choose to sign in on the Formed app on a smart phone or tablet.)
