If you are looking for something to help you or your family live your faith, the CWL is selling religious articles at the back of the Church after the 5:00 pm Mass on Saturday and the 8:00am, 10:00am & 12:00pm Masses on Sunday. We can accept only cheque or cash for payment.
SECOND COLLECTION FOR BC CATHOLIC
The 2nd collection this weekend is for the BC Catholic and helps Holy Cross with some of the costs of your BC Catholic subscriptions.
DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY (APRIL 16) CHOIR
Divine Mercy Sunday Mass for 2023 is on Sunday April 16 at 3:00 pm. If you are interested in joining the Choir for the Divine Mercy Sunday Mass, please contact Agnes Wan at joagnes@shaw.ca or 604-671-5365. Practices will be after Friday’s 7:30 pm Divine Mercy Mass (8:30 pm) on February 3, 10, 17, 24and March 3and 10. The choir will also practice on Sundays at 1:00 pm on Sunday February 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12and April 2. A reminder that you must attend all the practices if you want to join this choir.
LENT PARISH RETREAT – NINE DAYS TO REDISCOVER THE JOY OF PRAYER
Prayer changes our lives. Through fruitful prayer, God freely graces us with the gifts of joy, peace, courage, and determination. We often find, however, that despite our good intentions, prayer doesn’t come easily. We often have obstacles in our path—distractions from the outside or from our own internal weaknesses—that keep us from praying or being faithful to our Christian commitment to love. Allow your heart to be guided gently by Fr. Jacques Philippe’s Nine Days to Rediscover the Joy of Prayer toward a joyous prayer life that feeds your soul and revitalizes your relationship with the Lord. Join us for a simple 9-day retreat (Feb 23, 24, 27, 28, Mar 1-3, 6, 7). We will start with the morning Mass, followed by reflection, meditation, and Benediction in the Church. HOLY CROSS SCHOOL “PRICE IS RIGHT” PUB NIGHT
Please join our Holy Cross Community at our upcoming “Price is Right” Pub Night on Saturday February 11th in the School Gym. This is an event that you don’t want to miss! Tickets include dinner, dancing, games and a live & silent auction, with many great prizes to be won. Come on down and support Holy Cross Elementary while having a fun filled evening! Everyone and anyone are welcome to come to the event. Tickets are $75 and are available at the School office. We look forward to a successful fundraiser with your support!
SUPER BOWL PARTY
Tickets are available now at the Parish Office for our Super Bowl Party on Sunday February 12th from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the School Gym. Your $50.00 ticket includes dinner, snacks and a beverage. There are a limited amount of tickets available.

Even if you can’t attend the Super Bowl Party, you can always bid on the Silent Auction items starting on February 6th in the Parish office.
