COFFEE SUNDAY
This Sunday, February 19th, please join our monthly Coffee Sunday after all morning Masses (8am, 10am, 12pm) this Sunday, February 19th in the School Gym. We have various baked goods donated by Cobs in Kensington and Valley Bakery as well as some items homemade by our parishioners. We are also selling raffle tickets ($2 each) to win an Italian Gourmet Basket donated by the Knights of Columbus worth $100. We look forward to seeing you!
FAMILY DAY
The Parish Office is closed on Monday February 20th for the Family Day holiday and morning Mass is at 9:00 am.
ASH WEDNESDAY (FEBRUARY 22)
The Ash Wednesday Masses are at 8:15 am, 9:15 am (School Mass) and 7:30 pm. Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence.
EASTER PURDY’S CHOCOLATES FUNDRAISER
Please support our CWL Purdy’s Easter fundraiser by getting chocolates for your Easter baskets or Easter egg hunt from Purdy’s. Ash Wednesday is next week and Easter will be here before you know it! You can’t go wrong with Purdy’s chocolates!

The deadline for your order is Sunday March 12th and your chocolate order will be ready for pick up after all Sunday Masses on March 26 in the Church lobby.

SUPER BOWL PARTY 2023
We wish to thank all the members of the Holy Cross Parish community who attended our 1st annual Super Bowl party. It was a wonderful community builder and all profits from the event will go towards the Building Fund. Looking forward to our 2nd annual Super Bowl party in 2024!
YOUTH GYM NIGHT

CHALICE (Next weekend)
Chalice is coming to Holy Cross Parish next weekend! Please welcome Chalice representative Deacon Alan Cavin, who will speak at the February 25-26 Masses about the opportunity to begin a relationship with a child in need through the benefits of Child Sponsorship. It is a powerful way to reveal God’s love to those most in need! Chalice is Canada’s largest Catholic Child Sponsorship organization. EASTER VIGIL (APRIL 8) CHOIR (updated practice times)
Our Easter Vigil choir is going to start practicing soon. Musicians and those who would like to sing with us in the choir are all welcome. Men who can sing tenor or bass are especially needed. Masks are optional and will be provided. We will practice from 6-7:30 pm at the Church on Sundays March 5, 19, 26 and at 6:30 pm before Easter Vigil Mass. DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY (APRIL 16) CHOIR
Divine Mercy Sunday Mass for 2023 is on Sunday April 16at 3:00 pm. If you are interested in joining the Choir for the Divine Mercy Sunday Mass, please contact Agnes Wan at joagnes@shaw.ca or 604-671-5365. Practices will be after Friday’s 7:30 pm Divine Mercy Mass (8:30 pm) on February 3, 10, 17, 24and March 3and 10. The choir will also practice on Sundays at 1:00 pm on Sunday February 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12and April 2. A reminder that you must attend all the practices if you want to join this choir.
