CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE

(SCHOOL RENOVATION AND SEISMIC PROJECT)

 The May 30th deadline for donor wall recognition is quickly approaching!

 Families and individuals who have contributed a total of $1,250 or more will have the opportunity to be recognized on the donor wall. To make sure you’re included, please submit your gift or signed pledge form by May 30.

 Due to the impending Canada Post strike, those who qualify for donor recognition may receive a confirmation letter either from your child’s class and/or via email. Once you receive it, please complete the requested information and return it to the school by June 6, 2025.

 We are truly grateful for the amazing support received. Thank you for being such a big part of this project!


HOLY CROSS SCHOOL CARNIVAL SUNDAY MAY 25

The Holy Cross School Carnival is this Sunday May 25 (rain or shine) from 12:30pm – 4:30 pm on the Holy Cross School Grounds.  All are welcome!

Come join us fordelicious food including BBQ sausages, pasta, hot dogs, and other treatsPlease note that we only accept cash for payment. We look forward to seeing you there!

Prices are as follows:

KRISPY KREME GRADE 7 FUNDRAISER

 The families of the Grade 7 students will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts on Sunday May 25.  Students will be selling them after the 10am and 12pm masses as well as all day at the carnival from 12:30-4:30.

 The cost will be $2 per single donut or $20 per dozen. CASH ONLY

CWL STRAWBERRY TEA SATURDAY MAY 31

Our Strawberry Tea is sold out for this year!  Thank you to all our parishioners and friends who bought tickets!

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

Knights of Columbus Executive Meeting is on May 29th at 7pm in the Music Room.

Pancake Breakfast is next Sunday June 1st after 8am, 10am and 12pm masses.

THE FEAST OF PENTECOST

Novena – Friday, May 30th to Saturday, June 7th; 7:30pm to 8:30pm on Zoom.

We invite all parishioners to join us in preparing our hearts for Pentecost through a 9-day Novena to the Holy Spirit. Each day will offer reflections, prayers, and spiritual renewal as we anticipate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the feast day.  We will meet each day on Zoom.  The link will be provided in the May 30th bulletin.

Feast Day – Saturday, June 7th at 6:30 pm in the school Gym. Please note, the last Novena prayers will be said at the school gym as we physically gather to celebrate the Feast of Pentecost.

HOLY CROSS/EIFFEL INVESTMENTS ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT 2025

A very special thank you once again to all the sponsors, golfers and volunteers who made our Annual Golf Tournament on May 9 at Riverway Golf Course another huge fundraising success. Over $44,000 was raised for the School and Parish.

Fr. Chris is on vacation from May 12 to June 6.

PROJECT ADVANCE 2025 APPEAL

This annual Appeal provides critical funding to key ministries and projects, not only in the Archdiocese of Vancouver, but in our very own parish as well.  The money raised over and above the archdiocesan goal of $59,100 will go towards supporting our Parish Youth Programs, Alpha 2026 as well as parish buildings repairs and maintenance.
