Email Bulletin for March 7, 2025

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE

(SCHOOL RENOVATION AND SEISMIC PROJECT)

We are deeply grateful for everyone who has supported our campaign so far. Your generosity and commitment to this project have been truly inspiring.

If you have not yet submitted your signed pledge form, we kindly ask that you do so at your earliest convenience. For those who are still considering a contribution, please feel free to connect with Dino Alberti or Peter Veltri for more information.

Additionally, we would like to remind everyone that contributions of $1,250 or more will have the opportunity to be recognized on our donor wall. Contributions can be made as a pledged gift over 5 years, making it an accessible way to participate. This is a meaningful opportunity to leave a lasting legacy and recognize yourself, your family or someone special for years to come. If this resonates with you, please note that the deadline for inclusion on the donor wall is May 30, 2025. You don’t want to miss this opportunity!

Thank you again for your generosity and support.

SECOND COLLECTION – ST. JOSEPH’S SOCIETY

This Sunday’s second collection supports our retired priests who have dedicated their entire life to the Church. Generous support from the community ensures a comfortable living environment, quality medical care, and other essential services for our retired priests. You can make a tax-deductible donation to St. Joseph’s Society in-person at the parish or online at rcav.org/joseph.

COFFEE SUNDAY

This Sunday, March 9th will be our monthly Coffee Sunday after all morning Masses (8am, 10am, 12pm) in the school gym.  Please join us in celebrating Father Chris’s birthday with a cake. We look forward to seeing you!

BIBLE STUDY

Join us this Wednesday March 12 at 7:30 PM in the Music Room as we enter the Garden of Gethsemane. Feel the tension as Jesus, knowing the impending betrayal and crucifixion, cries out to his Father. Witness his “great distress” and “very sorrowful” soul as he faces the devil’s final assault. Experience the raw emotion of his prayer, “My Father, if it be possible, let this chalice pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” Let’s walk with Jesus through this agonizing hour, forging a deeper personal connection to his ultimate act of love.
For more information, contact Tito Macapinlac at titom1999@gmail.com or (604)761-3135 or the parish office.
