SUMMER HOURS FOR PARISH OFFICE START ON JULY 2
Starting on Wednesday July 2, the parish office will be open summer hours (9:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday to Friday.) (The Parish Office is closed on Tuesday July 1st for Canada Day.)
Weekday morning Mass times are at 9:00 am until September.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Coffee Sunday volunteers
We are looking for two volunteers at Coffee Sunday who will be available on the second Sunday of each month from 7am to 11am (4hrs) or from 10am to 2pm (4hrs)
Some duties are
- 7am to 11am: preparing baked goods and coffee/tea set up, and assist serving at the table
- 10am to 2pm: assist serving at the table, and tear down after 12pm Mass
- Lead each Mass Coffee Sunday volunteers
You can certainly attend any Mass during the above volunteer time frame. Both volunteers will be working with a lead who will be at Coffee Sunday all day. Please text or call Makiko Morelli at 778-938-3244 if you can help or have any questions.
Pop up volunteers
Sometimes, we need a few volunteers for various occasions throughout the year. It can be preparing the offertory envelope boxes, tax receipts, or picking up items from a bakery, etc. You don’t need to be available all the time, but if you would like to be contacted whenever help is needed, please text Makiko Morelli at 778-938-3244 with your full name, phone number, and email address. PARISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM (PREP)
PREP Registration for 2025-2026 is still open but will close on Monday June 30th. Children up to the age of 15 years old in the public education system are eligible. For questions or further information, visit the website https://www.hcprep.ca/. Classes will take place on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm starting on September 16, 2025.
