EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION – Sunday June 22nd at 2:30pm

This Eucharistic Procession is our parish’s response to Archbishop Richard Smith’s desire for Eucharistic renewal. Children who received First Communion this year are encouraged to attend. Come join us on this Sunday (Corpus Christi Sunday, June 22^nd) at 2:30pm for Holy Cross’ annual Eucharistic Procession.

We will proceed to walk the perimeter of the church grounds and a few blocks into the adjacent neighbourhood. We will then return to the church and finish with Benediction. The entire event should take approximately one hour.

To celebrate this special feast day of Corpus Christi, the CWL has graciously invited us to join them for refreshments at the church basement after the Procession.

A plenary indulgence is available for the faithful who participate in a Eucharistic Procession on the Feast of Corpus Christi.

ATTENTION MEN OF HOLY CROSS PARISH

Prayer, Formation, and Fraternity for Men

We are excited to share the implementation of COR, a new formation and fraternal opportunity for the men of Holy Cross parish. COR exists to form and strengthen Catholic men in faith and virtue as missionary disciples by drawing them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, formation, and fraternity.

COR will be held at 7 pm on Thursday, June 26th, 2025, in the Holy Cross Church basement. Come join your brother parishioners for coffee and food, prayer and fraternity. Please use the link below to register and to grow as a Catholic man.

PARISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM (PREP)

PREP Registration for 2025-2026 is still open but will close on Monday June 30^th. Children up to the age of 15 years old in the public education system are eligible. For questions or further information, visit the website https://www.hcprep.ca/. Classes will take place on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm starting on September 16, 2025.

CHALICE WEEKEND AT HOLY CROSS – THANK YOU

Chalice extends a heartfelt “thank you” to Fr. Chris and Holy Cross parish for hosting a Child Sponsorship Weekend on June 7-8. As a result, 38 children in need were sponsored, in addition to those who are usually sponsored after more time and consideration. On behalf of these children, thank you for your generosity and hospitality! You have revealed God’s love to His precious children.

PROJECT ADVANCE 2025 APPEAL

This annual Appeal provides critical funding to key ministries and projects, not only in the Archdiocese of Vancouver, but in our very own parish as well. The money raised over and above the archdiocesan goal of $59,100 will go towards supporting our parish youth programs, Alpha 2026 as well as parish buildings repairs and maintenance.
