WELCOME TO OUR NEW ASSISTANT PASTOR
As of August 1, 2025, Holy Cross Parish is warmly welcoming our new Assistant Pastor, Father Jaroslaw (Yarek) Dziuba, SDS! Fr. Yarek belongs to the Society of the Divine Saviour (The Salvatorians). He has been a priest for more than 30 years. He has extensive pastoral and missionary experience as he worked in Poland, and then in the Philippines and India where he was responsible for the formation of the new priests. He arrived in Canada in 2002 and was assigned as an assistant pastor at the Holy Cross Parish in Burnaby. Then Fr. Yarek served in several parishes in the Archdiocese of Kingston, and the Diocese of Calgary. His last assignment as a pastor was at St. Patrick’s Parish in Vancouver. We look forward to Father Yarek’s ministry with us. Please keep him in your prayers.
LAUDS BEFORE MORNING MASS
Everyone is welcome to join our parishioners who pray Lauds (the morning prayers of the Catholic Church) starting a ½ hour before the morning Mass on Mondays to Saturdays.
