Second Collection Work of VOcations
The 2nd collection this Sunday supports seminarians studying to become priests for the Archdiocese of Vancouver.

The Knights will be holding a baby shower for Ryan’s Rainbow from
May 07 – 21, 2023. We are collecting diapers and baby formula. Please drop off these items in the church foyer.
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CONFIRMATION AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION STUDENTS of PREP and HOLY CROSS SCHOOL. Last weekend, 53 students received the Sacrament of Confirmation and this weekend 49 students will receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

The catechists of the Neocatechumenal Way invite you to rediscover the joy of believing. Come and listen on Mondays and Thursdays from April 24th to June 11th, 2023. GRADE 7 RAISE THE FUNDS FUNDRAISER
“Get your freezer ready for BBQ season by supporting our Holy Cross Grade 7 Class in the Raise the Funds Fundraiser. Choose from a great selection of frozen meats and meals from vendors such as Columbus Meats, Nonna Approved, Hunky Bills and Dirty Apron. Order through the school office or through any Holy Cross School family. Please note the order deadline is May 5 and all orders must be picked up on May 16 between 2-4 pm in the school parking lot.”
PARISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM (PREP)
PREP Registration for 2023-2024 will start on Monday April 24 and the “Early Bird” rate ends on June 2nd. Please let your family and friends know that PREP at Holy Cross starts at Level 1 (Level 1 students are those students in Grade 1 in September 2023).
Knights of Columbus Post Secondary Scholarship
The Knights of Columbus Holy Cross Parish Council #5423 and the Holy Cross Elementary School are offering a Post Secondary School Scholarship to Secondary school students. To be eligible, an applicant must be in Grade 12 at a British Columbia High School and have graduated from Holy Cross Elementary School.

EASTER HOLY WATER
Easter Holy Water is available for anyone who would like to take some home. Please bring a container and help yourself from the tub by our Blessed Mother statue.
HOLY CROSS ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT – May 12th at Riverway Golf Course in Burnaby
Once again we are sold out and we want to sincerely thank all our Sponsors and Golfers for responding so enthusiastically. Please note that Registration, Lunch and Opening Prayer will take place between 12:30 to 1 pm and the Shot Gun Start will take place between 1:15 to 1:30 pm. We are looking forward to another great day of Golf and Community Building. (Dinner to be served at approx. 7:30 pm.)
HEAVENLY WINES PROJECT
A very special thank you to all our Parishioners who contributed to our Annual Heavenly Wines collection over the last two weekends. The quality and quantity of wines collected for our Holy Cross Golf Tournament Auction, were very impressive. For those of you who forgot your wine bottles last weekend, bottles can still be dropped off at the Parish Office up to next Wednesday.
